If you haven't seen TVMcGill's latest series we suggest you head over to TVMcGill and check out Get Wrecked featuring our very own Vanessa Hari as a leading actress.
In 1870 four women at Asbury College in Greencastle, Indiana established
a society for women that would expand the horizons of collegiate women
forever. This society, founded by Bettie Locke Hamilton, Alice Allen Brant,
Bettie Tipton Lindsey, and Hannah Fitch Shaw, was Kappa Alpha Theta,
the first Greek letter fraternity among women.
Kappa Alpha Theta has since
colonized chapters at over 120 four-year colleges in the United States
and Canada. The Beta Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta was founded at McGill University in 1932. It continues to grow and is presently part of three other fraternities for women at McGill.
